Basically a good earthing is considered to provide a straight unobstructed (less joints / twists / indirect connections) path for the fault current to flow for instant dissipation. An earthing apparatus which has more cross Sectional primary Conducting area in sq.mm. and more surface area, the better and quicker dissipation of the fault current takes place.
The Primary earthing that we have used in our UES is STRIPS yielding maximum Cross Sectional Primary Conducting area in Sq.mm.. It also provide a straight unobstructed path for the fault current as our terminal and primary electrode are one and the same removing any joints, which helps in quick dissipation of fault current.
We have shown the CROSS SECTIONAL PRIMARY CONDUCTING AREA on Products for each of our UES for user ready reference. It is always advisable to use flat from the main to connect to our UES.
