Basically a good earthing is considered to provide a straight
unobstructed ( less joints / twists / indirect
connections ) path for the fault current to flow
for instant dissipation. An earthing apparatus
which has more Cross Sectional Primary
Conducting area in sq.mm. and more surface area.
The better and quicker dissipation of the fault
current takes place.
The primary earthing that we have used in our UES is STRIPS
yielding maximum Cross Sectional Primary
Conducting area in Sq.mm.. It also provides
a straight unobstructed path for the fault
current as our terminal and primary electrode
are one and same removing any joints, which
helps in quick dissipation of fault current.
We have shown the CROSS SECTIONAL PRIMARY
CONDUCTING AREA in this brochure for each of
our UES for user ready reference. It is
always advisable to use flat from the mains to
connect to our UES.

For reference in the BIS book of
IS 3043 1987 Code of Practice page no.21
sl.no.9.2.3. it is stated that strip electrodes
are better compared to Pipe, Plate earthing and
even pipe in pipe earthing, which are also good
in high resistivity soil conditions.

The SIZE and the No. of EARTHING ELECTRODES should be recommended by
your ELECTRICAL CONSULTANTS, ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
OR YOUR ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS depending on your
infrastructure requirement.
OHMIC Value depends on soil conditions
wherever it is used. Our Product can be used in
the form of a Grid is used. Our Product can be
used in the form of a Grid using 3 or
more in nos. Duly interconnected for highly
sensitive projects and wherever low OHMIC
value is required.
